Daniel Landers: I could put where I was born or what college degree I have, but I think much of my life in “list form” would only be misleading to who I truly am. Simply today, I am a driven individual. Not for money, not for fame, but for the satisfaction of being involved in the creation of truly beautiful stories and images. Like many artists, I will most likely never truly be satisfied with what I am capable of at any point in time… always striving to grow and discover what might be possible tomorrow.
Ivory Oasis: This name was taken to serve as a constant reminder of my artistic purpose as I move forward in my career. “Ivory” is a word which embodies beauty and a delicate artistic mastery, both which I hope to achieve in each piece I create. While “Oasis” refers to a unique sanctuary within the sea of a far too often ugly world. Together, they simply stress a strong desire to have my art be enjoyed and contribute to the wide variety of projects which lighten the drudgery of day to day life.
